Diary Entry 1 : Grace and Growth

It's easy to get immersed in being a momma. I know first hand. Everyone needs alittle grace while fulfilling their role in this journey called parenthood.

In a world and in a time, when all eyes are on you things get blurred and things get stressful. The onus is on you to have perfect children that don't act very much like children. There are expectations that whilst raising these robot children you must be perfectly presentable at all times. Basically a robot family of perfection with no room for growth.

Well I'm here to tell you:

it's okay to be a mess.

It's okay to not have it all together.

It's okay to let kids be kids.

It's okay to not be okay.

It's. All. Okay.

We are all trying to raise decent tiny humans in the best way we know how. We are all trying to be our own person, not just a momma but US; wholeheartedly, authentically, and beautifully ourselves.

And that ain't easy.

It's time to have more grace for ourselves as human, growing mothers. It's time the world has more grace toward us to.

So here I am, extending a hand of grace toward you.
